Refund Policy

1. Overview
PortraitAI offers AI-powered portrait generation as a subscription service. Because our service involves the immediate consumption of computational resources (AI model training and image generation), we have a limited refund policy as described below. We encourage you to review our plans carefully before purchasing.
2. Subscription Refunds
You may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase, provided that:
- You have not trained any AI character models, and
- You have not generated any portrait images.
If you have used any part of the service (model training or image generation), we are unable to offer a refund, as computational resources have already been consumed on your behalf.
3. Renewals
Subscription renewals (monthly or annual) are non-refundable. We send a reminder email before your renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges — your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
4. Technical Failures
If you experience a verified technical failure on our end that prevents you from using the service (e.g., failed model training or failed image generation due to a platform error), we will either:
- Restore your credits or regeneration quota, or
- Issue a partial refund proportional to the unusable portion of your subscription.
Please contact us within 14 days of the incident with details of the failure.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances (e.g., accidental purchase of the wrong plan, duplicate charges). We aim to be fair and reasonable.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at support@myaiportrait.app with:
- Your registered email address
- Your order or transaction ID
- Reason for the refund request
We will respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Paddle (our payment provider) and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
